چکیده

ABSTRACT. The present work investigated the kinetic and thermodynamic study of adsorbents to remove copper ions from aqueous solutions compared efficiency between natural microalgae bio-adsorbent chlorella species (sp.) synthetic magnetic nanoparticles. All materials synthesized characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX). highest Cu+2 ion adsorption for solution at 100 mg/L was 57.2%, while pH 8 it 59.7%. more efficient adsorbent acquired 0.24 mg/g. second-order model is fitted, activation (Ea) three adsorbents; Chlorella, Fe3O4, (Fe3O4 coated with SiO2) were 95.24, 40.69, 20.39 kJ/mol, respectively indicating process slower than Enthalpy changes (ΔH#) endothermic showed that on chemisorption nanoparticles physisorption. Entropy change (ΔS#), Gibbs free (ΔG#) feasible spontaneous in temperature range 293-313 K. novelty this determine type algae nanoparticles.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Role of activated carbon from natural adsorbent for removal of textile dyes: effect of pH, kinetic and adsorbent mass

In the present work, we have investigated the sorption efficiency of the treated activated carbon from walnut shell(ACW) towards Direct Red 81 (DR81) and Direct Blue 71 (DB71) for the removal from aqueous solution. Thesorption study of ACW at the solid-liquid interface was investigated using kinetic, sorption isotherms, pH effectand amount of adsorbent. Experimental data were analyzed by Langmu...

Removal of Reactive Red195 Synthetic Textile Dye using Polypyrrole-coated Magnetic Nanoparticles as an Efficient Adsorbent

Magnetic Fe3 O4 nanoparticles modified by polypyrrole (PPy@Fe3 O4 MNPs) was synthesized by chemical co-precipitation method and used as an adsorbent for removal of cationic dyes, Reactive Red195, from aqueous solutions. The resulting products are characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and FT-IR. The effects of solution pH value, adsorbent amount, adsorption time and capacity of the...

Application of Magnetic-modified Fe3O Nanoparticles for Removal of Crystal Violet from Aqueous Solution: Kinetic, Equilibrium and Thermodynamic Studies

The prepared magnetic-modified Fe3 O4 nanoparticles (Fe3 O4 -TAN) were used as adsorbent for removal of crystal violet (CV) from water solution. The effects of pH, contact time, dye concentration and temperature on adsorption were determined. The experimental data were analyzed using the Langmuir adsorption model. The data fitted well to the model with maximum adsorption capacities 84.0 mg/gund...
